Photo Upload Quality: Let’s try to keep it very simple.

The Better the quality of the photo that is uploaded, the better the quality of the image, that can be printed on to the balloon. Although the area of print on the Photo-Balloons is larger than A3, our tests have shown that normally even a 3 Megapixel camera can produce images that are of a good enough quality for acceptable results.

In brief, most standard modern digital cameras are suitable and will produce adequate images. However, images taken on mobile phone cameras that are less than 3 Megapixel are not recommended.

We will however print all the photographs that you upload, (providing they comply with our terms and conditions), however if the image you have uploaded is small, and print quality may be affected when enlarged, a message will appear.

Please also note that the amount that you crop the photo can also affect the print quality. Therefore unless the picture is of high quality we do not recommend that you crop the image down to less than half of the original uploaded size.

How are Photo-Balloons printed?

Your Photo-Balloons will be printed on either the Epson Stylus Pro 3800 or on Epson’s award winning Stylus Pro 4880 Printer using Epson’s eight-colour UltraChrome K3 vivid magenta Ink set, one of the range of printers used by Professional Photographers and galleries to produce limited edition prints ensuring life-like prints every time.

Payments and Orders:

How can I pay?

Payments accepted through Sage Pay are as follows:

Sage Pay’s stand alone service allows customers anywhere in the world to pay using a credit or debit card. Worldwide payments however are only accepted if the card is either MasterCard/Visa Debit/Visa Credit/Switch/Solo/Maestro.

I made a mistake; can I change or cancel my order?

Unfortunately the answer is NO. As the Photo-Balloons are processed and printed immediately after your payment has been accepted, we are not able to change or cancel any orders.

Can I change the address or any other details after the order has been confirmed as paid?

Unfortunately THIS CANNOT BE DONE because once the address label has been printed, the balloon box will have been labeled and stacked amongst 100's of others ready for dispatch and the box containing the un-inflated balloon may or may not have already left the print depot for dispatch.

You can however cancel the order, there will be no refund but we will try to insure that the balloon will not be dispatched.

Delivery:

Where is my balloon?

Photo-Balloons are collected and enter straight into the Royal Mail or DHL systems on the day of dispatch. Please note that first class items are not guaranteed next day delivery and may take several days to arrive, especially during peak periods.

Please make sure you allow enough time for your balloons to arrive.

Please remember all courier services can be subject to delay and delays are even more likely during any period of time when Royal Mail is on strike.

Can I send a Photo-Balloon anonymously?

Sender’s details are not revealed.

Can I obtain a POD?

Proof of delivery is only possible if the balloon was delivered by Royal Mail Special Delivery or by DHL. If you would like to receive a POD, please contact OK5 at deliveries@ok5.com.

Who delivers your balloons?

All Photo-Balloons are normally delivered by Royal Mail.

However, standard delivery will only be by DHL during any strike periods by Royal Mail.

Balloon is delivered un-inflated in a padded envelope with the weight and ribbon by Air Mail.

Europe £5.95

Rest of World £9.95

Orders/Delivery

Orders will be taken 24/7 and delivered Tuesday-Saturday.

Therefore NO deliveries will be made on Sunday or Monday.

Last orders for next day delivery will be taken Monday-Friday up to 3pm.

Balloons ordered after 3pm on Friday will be dispatched on Monday for Tuesday delivery.

Note 1st Class delivery by Royal Mail is never absolutely guaranteed for next day delivery.

Tracking Delivery

Tracking a delivery is only possible if the item was sent by Royal Mail Special Delivery or by DHL. Before contacting Royal Mail or DHL, you will need to contact us at deliveries@ok5.com and we will provide you with the tracking number.

How are the balloons delivered?

Photo-Balloons are delivered in a OK5 box with the ribbon and weight attached.

At what time will my balloons be delivered?

This will normally depend on the post round delivery time in your area.

What happens if nobody is home?

As delivery by Royal Mail requires a signature, they will leave a card with instructions on how to proceed and where to collect the box or how to arrange re-delivery.

DHL sometimes leave the package if there is a suitable, convenient and safe place and will leave a card. Please note that the delivery can only be made to the address on the label.

Can I send to a BFPO?

BFPO deliveries cannot be guaranteed to arrive on the exact day selected and cannot be sent if the final destination is outside the UK.
